The trail starts starts from Canton Salvamon(2 km from the centre of Cireşu, 34 km from Drobeta Turnu Severin on DJ 607B, 25 km from Orşova on DN6 and DJ607C), near the bridge over Bahna River. The first 11 crossed through the county road through the county road (not asphalted, a dirt road) that follows the Bahna course and passes through villages Bahna and Ilovita then follows the course Racovăţ stream, continues through the forest and reaches the ridge of the Mehedinti Mountains under the Meteriz peak (720m).
